Helen Q. Kivnick, Ph.D. is a Professor at the University of Minnesota and the founder and executive director of CitySongs, an innovative program designed to help youth identify and reach their unique potential, and strengthen community. She will speak about engagement, her research with youth, and vital involvement as we age.
Dr. Kivnick will be interviewed by Harry Hobson, President & CEO of Plymouth Harbor.
“Aging Well”
George E. Vaillant, M.D. is a Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and the Dept. of Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He has been Director of the Study of Adult Development at Harvard University Health Service for more than 30 years. This research is a longitudinal study of over 800 individuals covering the past 60 years. He will talk about this work, what happens as we age and keys to successful aging.
Dr Vaillant will be interviewed by Nancy Schlossberg, author and Professor Emerita, University of Maryland.
