Make a Difference Day, October 25th 2008
SCOPE staff worked with members of the Laurel Civic Association on the fence between the neighborhood and the Legacy Trail. The team pulled weeds, cut potato vines and spruced up the fenceline.

SEA Implementation Meeting, September 9th 2008
More than 50 community members came together to hear about the work of each of the Summit for Environmental Action implementation committees. Committee leaders made presentations on transit oriented development, green business, alternative water sources, low impact development and solar hot water heaters.

Annual Celebration, June 10th 2008
SCOPE friends and supporters gathered to honor Isabel Norton as recipient of the 2008 Boundary Crosser Leadership Award. Nancy Roucher reflected on her year as chair of SCOPE's Board of Directors and welcomed incoming chair Wendy Fishman.
