The Community Report Card is a tool that our community can use to understand Sarasota County. The report is filled with indicators that reflect trends across many facets of community life.
In 2008, SCOPE sought to use the Community Report Card data as a springboard for community dialogue and action. This resulted in the Summit for Environmental Action in February 2008 and the ROLE Summit in October 2008. Both Summits were collaborative efforts bringing together diverse perspectives. Community-based action is ongoing. Click on the links at left for further information.
Over 2007 - 2008, SCOPE released one indicator each month for the Community Report Card. This data paints a picture of Sarasota County and provokes questions and critical thinking.
